Allen Skinner

Allen has worked in the soil biology field since 2009. He authored a three-year NRCS Conservation Innovation Grant (CIG) that studied Dr. Elaine’s Soil Food Web School assessment and treatment methods for a 4-acre urban farm in Jacksonville, Florida. Allen consults with farmers, ranchers, urban gardeners, permaculture practitioners, as well as those in the landscape industry to transition them from a chemical- based nutrient program to a biological program. He delivers step-by-step guides on how to transition to soil biology-based plant growing, including biological composting programs.
