I started my avocado growing career in 2022 purchasing a small orchard. After learning the industrial system and navigating the export requirements, I soon looked for a more profitable system with less external inputs. I completed the SFW FC and moved on to the GTP and microscopy programs and quickly put my learnings into practice developing composting, extraction and application methods at a suitable scale for the size of the property. I have now been transitioning into agroecological farming practices since late 2024. Happy to share learnings and FAILs-First Attempt In Learning!
