With a B.S. in Regenerative Agriculture and a specialized focus on living soils, Loida Vasquez brings deep expertise and a proven track report in transforming conventional agriculture through soil biology. Over the course of her career, Loida has helped transition thousands of acres of farmland to regenerative systems, working directly with farmers, consultants, and land stewards to implement practices rooted in soil health and ecological resilience.

Loida has learned from and worked closely with Dr. Elaine Ingham for decades, from Elaine’s time as the Chief Scientist at the Rodale Institute, to many years of dedication to the Soil Food Web school. As a leader in the field, Loida has designed and led dozens of workshops on composting, soil biology, and regenerative land management, empowering hundreds of practitioners with actionable, science-based methods. Her work emphasizes practical, biology-first approaches to land restoration and productivity.
