Sammie Bass

Samantha Bass was inoculated with the soil food web approach in January of 2017 while attending a 5-day workshop with Dr. Elaine Ingham. She implements biological farming practices on her ⅓ acre homestead and a 1-acre plot growing food for her family and friends. Since November 2019, she has served as the Soil Food Web School’s (SFWS) Marketing Associate, where she is a liaison between SFWS and various advertising agencies to ensure the digital marketing strategy and execution are performed flawlessly. Samantha’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Hospitality and Tourism Management with a minor in Economics. She began her career at the Better Business Bureau in San Diego. Later positions included Assistant Manager of Operations and Office Manager. Before joining SFWS, Samantha served as Board President for Nevada County Grown, coordinating publicity and marketing events for farmers and agritourism members throughout California’s Nevada County.
