Dora Tkalec

A teacher by training and gardener at heart, Dora Tkalec discovered permaculture in 2012 — a turning point that led her deep into the science and magic of compost, and to recognizing soil as the foundation of all functioning ecosystems. She has been practicing the Soil Food Web approach since 2020. Working with farmers, growers, and landscape professionals, she restores soil health through bioactive composting tailored to each farm’s own resources. She believes that understanding natural complexity and genuine human cooperation can lead us to the better world our hearts know is possible.
